On those days when you might be feeling sorry for yourself or just a bit sad and blue, try this exercise to get you out of your doldrums.  Touch the tip of each finger with the pointer finger of your other hand and as you do, say something you are grateful for.  A Blessing in your life.  Doing this turns on a little happy switch in your brain.  It’s a circuit breaker from the sad thoughts and unhappy day you may be having.  Then when you start smiling again, draw happy faces on each finger tip to remind you how much you have to be grateful for…and to put a giggle in your middle!
